That'd be a hard hit to sony, Activision is one of the most active publishers/developers and has some big titles in their hands like guitar hero and call of duty, seeing as infinity ward and treyarch are under contract with them I wonder if that'd mean no more guitar hero, no more call of duty from Treyarch or modern warefare from IW.
Would suck for ps3 owners, I read about Activision being upset over no price cuts awhile ago but that's pretty big to drop a console. I doubt sony would let that happen.

Im so happy I went with 360, the community and the games is just all around better. More people, more famous people (pros), etc. Believe it or not though I used too throw my support behind PlayStation, the only thing IMO that PlayStation has going for it are slightly better graphics.

If they do drop, the ps3 will only be missing mostly the CoD games, since people would just compensate by playing Rock Band favoring in the end EA. Besides, if Sony does respond to this comment, many other publishers might start making similar demands to Sony.
Also, this comments seems like something Microsoft might have told Activision to say since they always favor the Xbox. And if they do drop it, it would be by 2010 or 2011. PS3 users would still get the latest CoD game.
And to add something else, to make a bold statement like this, he would have to have a good idea of something we don't know.

Alot/Nearly All of TVs they sell these days have HD in them, Its Your problem if your TV is 5+ years old. And plus theyre getting loads cheaper so no need to complain on prices ect.
A old tv will make the game look crap.
A new tv will make the game look awesome.
