Do a barrel roll!
you might need to restore or format your ps3. bcuz when my kept freezing I had a bunch of movies and music on and every so often it froze.

I Got The Same PS3 120 GB But i don't have that much movies or stuff and it freezes alot.

i dont have any movies or anything, its only started doing it since i formatted it :|, like everytime i wanna watch summin on iplayer it just freezes for no reason, or when a game ends on mw2 it just freezes :| keeps happening and i cant replace it atm soo...

take and do a system restore then take and download the ofw(official firmware) vesion that you have installed and install it from recovery mode

Just like Travis has already stated. Go to recovery mode and select "restore file system". This will/should correct your issue. It is a common problem with several firmware updates that have been shoved down our throats by Sony.
