(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok, so I was updating my ps3 and when it rebooted it loaded up and then it showed the wave background as if it was about to show my profiles and then it just stayed like that (it didnt lock up because the wave was still moving) and im like :wtf: so i rebooted it and then the lights would flash and.... then it turned off.... I called ps3 support and they told me i need to get to the recovery menu and i couldnt O_o and when i did he said i have to ERASE EVERYTHING. . . . and i dont wanna do that. i forgot what the option was called.

and so you know, I am not new to ps3, I am not a little noob that wants attention, and please dont hate on me, be the adult here.

Sorry to hear that man, but if thats the case there is nothing you can do. if its bricked it bricked. my advice is keep
trying to go into service mode and reflash the Nor with the 3.66 update. i would download it on the computer and put it on a flash drive
to avoid other complications. Best of luck!

you should just send it to sony and make them fix it. It's their fault, not yours. I think they fix them for free if you can prove it's their fault.
