Sounds to me like there is something wrong with the BluRay player. You can look on YouTube on how to fix the problem, but it can void you warranty. If you still have a warranty, then just send the PS3s in to Sony and they will fix it for you for free. Is it just World At War that isn't working? Because if it is, then there could be something wrong with the disc. You can get the game at GameStop for about $20 used.

I had the same problem with COD5 a long time ago and even called Sony to get it fixed. Heres what they told me and it fixed the problem. You have to go to "GAME DATA UTILITY" and delete the the game file and then to make sure go to "SAVED DATA UTILITY" and delete the game data there also. This should fix the problem has it did so for me.
