Post: How do I set router to host MW2?
07-02-2011, 11:36 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm using a belkin54g wireless router and my nat on the MW2 says open but when I try to invite people they get a "can not connect to host" message. I've tried to put my PS3 in DMZ and I've also port forwarded the ports in my router for the PS3. Maybe the things I have tried I did not do correctly! "IDK." I'm at a loss because I believe I have tried everything. Does anyone have a new method for me to try? :brains:

May depends on your router download speed and upload speed, also if they have another nat type or crappy connection, they wont be able to connect.

I called my internet provided and I said that i couldnt host games on my ps3, they said that he would give me a static ip, once i did that, i never got a message like that ever again.

My download speed is 19.5mbps and my upload speed is about 0.6mbps depending on what day it is.
