You will need to put the patch you want for the challenge lobby onto your 3.55 ps3. After you have done that, data transfer over to the 3.61 and you should be able to host.

Well if you want to host challenge lobbies then you need to update the one on 3.61 to 3.66 first, Then you can easily data transfer from one ps3 to another, hope this helps

Update you 3.61 to 3.66 first then place Rebugs 3.66 spoof on you 3.55, this will let you data transfer the patch across from the 3.55 to 3.66.
Now as long as you know how to place patches on the PS3 then you should be ok from there!

ok you apperar to know nothing so im gonna give you the full story update the 3.61 to the latest ofw
keep your 3.55 on 3.55

install awesome file manager via install pkg file also you will need the newest spoofer from rebug.me

on your 3.55 ps3 make sure your auto update is off and insert mw2 if you dont already have the 1.12 update installed update mw2 to 1.12

find a patch you would like to use

now open up file manager and enter advanced mode by hitting select on the controller

on the left side navigate to your usb that contains the patch find the patch and hold there for now

now on the other side go to dev/hdd0 then to game i think then find the game disk code for example the mw2 us disk code for my region is BLUS30377 (i think)

find the patch.mp.ff or something like that
copy the patch from the usb side to the hdd side by hitting circle if im not mistaken

now simply follow the steps for data transfer on your screen thanks

bro on my ps3 thts on 3.55 kmeaw cfw and qa flag my disc reader doesnt read it dont read discs so is this a problem to do all this or can i get away with it and still put my patch on 3.55 to data transfer to other ps3

dont use file zilla edit the patch with awesome file manager on the ps3 its a homebrew app i gave a full tutorial
if you need the update update pkg make a thread with your disk code and ask someone to upload it and you will be set

install the pkg file someone gets you then you will have a modded one folder with your disk code on your hdd go into advanced mode by hitting select find the patch mp ff delete the old and copy the modded one over its not that hard i cant tell you anymore i have fully explained it icant do no better
