Ahans76, a PlayStation collector, is apparently more of a PlayStation collector than most, because he claims to now be in possession of every single North American PS2 game ever released.

Having picked up a console on its launch day back in 2000, he began his collection with Ridge Racer 5. In the beginning, he simply began collecting the games as a hobby, never intending to get every game, but once he hit 400 and discovered he was halfway there, he decided to go all out.

If you're wondering about the specifics of the collection, they are as follows:

- Every game is new and sealed.
- Every game is a first release. The only "Greatest Hits" games he has are those with extra content not found in the original release.
- He only claims to have every NTSC game from North America, so anything released only in Japan or PAL markets, he doesn't have.

Do a barrel roll!
To say that collection is impressive is almost understated. Wish I had the $ to collect games like that.

i wonder if ebay, et. al. have made more people try to collect and hunt for games and keeping the sealed or not? a fully sealed NES set would run a pretty penny as no one thought of that ever having value, but jeez i wonder how many will be kept at or above MSRP in the future, and of course all the maddens are worthless by this point.

when is the final ps2 game coming? its been 11.5 years!!

My RIG is red. It's red.
Very nice collection; 100% or not. I thought I was doing good with the 30 or so I had, lol. Too bad they aren't worth the disc they are printed on at retailers like GameStop, etc... the PS2, especially, still has some of the best games of any console's life cycle.

Level 2 trustworthy
I'd like to take them all off the shelves and take the discs out, then make him put the discs back in and put them back on the shelves in reverse alphabetical order and then order of release date :carling:

its a waste to buy them sealed and not play them, i am a game collector myself but i always buy games i like and i play them too, most places like gamestop ask you to remove the warpping from the game case anyway so that will deface the value (not that gamestop would give you any much diffrent for a sealed game anyway)

collecting the whole nes library is a very expensive task, more expensive than collecting ps2 games, there are some nes carts that cost in the thousands for one game alone, AVGN knows that because he has a lot of rare nes games in his collection.
