(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've been having this problem for the past 2 days now. When I plug my controller into my ps3 for charging it charges for about 10 seconds then stops charging and the battery level goes to "-". I can still play like that with it plugged in, it works like a ps2 controller Yesterday it started charging again randomly, charged to a full battery but today it won't charge again. I have tried searching google for solutions, I have tried resetting my controller, using a different usb cable/port, restarting my system and a few other things but none of them work. I would really prefer to not have to buy a new controller seeing as how they're $60 where I live, and even after buying new controllers some people online still have the same issue. I just got off the phone with sony and they can't repair my controller for free because I don't have my receipt anymore. So if anyone has any solutions please post them i'd really appreciate it, thanks.

it could be a problem with power going through your ps3, try charging it in the wall or a computer:y:
