(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have had multiple problems about my psn connection, and its now fixed. This will help you to fix yours aswell so you dont have to go through countless hours of googling and searching through forums, ect.

-Disable media servers
Go on to settings on the XMB>Network Settings>Awesome faceisable Media servers.

-Disable UPnP
You can do this through your router or your PS3
Way one-Router:
Open up the command prompt on your PC and type in "ipconfig/all"(without the ") then hit enter. There should be a sequence of numbers something like 192.168.1.55. Copy and paste these into your browser, then look for a settings area. You may have to type in a username/password. It is something like admin for both of them, or just admin as the password, and a blank username. When in the settings, look for something like application sharing, then go into UPnP, and uncheck the tick box.
Way two-PS3
Go to XMB>Settings>network settings> internet connections settings. Choose custom and enter all the usual stuff the same, but there will be a few different settings, just choose the default options for these, and when you get to UPnP, disable it.

BUT, if you disable UPnP, then you will get NAT type 3.

Look for your router model, and then look for PS3, and follow the instructions given.

Way two-Factory reset:
There might be a button on the side of your router that you need a pin or something thin to press. WARNING-This WILL reset your router to the settings that you got it with. You can still use the internet, but it will wipe all the ports you have entered. Ask the house owners permission if your are doing this.

Other tips and guides-
-Don't use things like BitTorrent or Limewire ect. when using PSN because it eats up your bandwidth, that's how i fixed the 8002A548 error and PSN timed out.
