Try putting your ps3 into recovery mode buddy. When turning on the PS3, hold the power button down until you hear two beeps... then quickly let go... after that, normally turn your ps3 on, and try modifying the settings, hope this helped bud.

i have already taken ps3 apart to fix ylod.. so.. lol
