The developer behind the very first v3.66 downgrade has been working hard on this Dual-Boot theory, and now dospiedras1973 has shared with his fellow spanish forum members on Eol.net a few pictures, and soon will be updating it with a full tutorial and steps you need to do to enable this wonderful amazing feature of switching between CFW and OFW on your PS3 Console.

Be Warned, it needs alot of soldering at the moment, and currently it only works on 256mb NAND models, as those first PHAT systems, stored everthing on the flash, not using your HDD as a "virtual flash" to run the firmware.

Dual-Boot seems to be possible now, and along with the Progskeet and Project PNM hardware it looks like it will be a reachable idea for even the basic PS3 end-user, that is not worried in opening up his system and handling a soldering iron for a few minutes.
