I recently discovered that the domain Sony-Microsoft.com was actually owned by Microsoft! The domain is currently offline, so please don't just start flaming, but check out the source and see for yourself.

But what could this mean? It's registered to Microsoft. But what's weird, is that they put Sony first in the domain! Could Sony and Microsoft finally be coming together to make the ultimate gaming console? Or could it just be for Microsoft to program the Vaio laptops?

Think about: each console (PS3 and Xbox 360) have something that makes it unique. But they also lack things that the other console has, so why not make a system that has all of those features? It'll be the ultimate gaming console, with no holes in between.

So what do you think? Is it just for the Vaio laptops? Or is it finally time for the ultimate gaming console?

EDIT: @fxshaw recently tweeted that the domain was registered so people wouldn't abuse it. (Thanks Ropponen)

This just sounds like a load. I know they registered it, but how is that proof of anything other than a GIANT software company buying up domain names for pennies. So what? It keeps others from buying up anything they could POSSIBLY want in the future, and now they won't have to buy it off of someone who was smarter than them and had more foresight to do this. Think of the guys who bought up all the domains in the beginning. Kraft.com, ya someone could've bought it and sold it back to kraft for a 5000% profit. and all he had to do was invest some chump change.
