(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys i see a lot of questions on NGU and Lots of other forum websites asking which is the ultimate console i see people say " XBOX " & Then The PS3 fanboys Comment saying PS3 i see some saying " PS3 " And XBOX Fanboys comment so i am here today to do some research on which actually is the best Console

I DO HAVE BOTH CONSOLES "THIS IS A MIXTURE OF FACTS AND OPINIONS DONT TROLL"

Although i do love the lightness of the PS3 controller and the way the analogues are set out to sort of fit my thumbs i do prefer the more heavier controller of the XBOX .
Although the controller is heavier i think it just has a more sturdy feel in the hand it just seems to fit the hand more than the PS3 controller does .
At first i thought the positioning of the analogues on the XBOX controller would be a little bit awkward but it pulled through and now has very little thumb ache . .
The triggers on the PS3 controllers just dont quite feel how they should as i find them slipping every once in a while but it wasnt a major annoyance .
The triggers on the XBOX on the other hand are a lot more easy to use and the angle on the triggers are different so NO SLIPPING :y:

Yes ive heard it all before "YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR XBOX LIVE!" The reason you need to pay for live is because there are a wide variety of features including create your own avatar and lots of other stuff which we will discuss next round.
Another reason you pay for XBOX is because it is more stable online i have really started to notice this between the two whilst playing black ops on XBOX your straight into a game whilst on PS3 it takes a few seconds longer the reason for this is that there are more players on XBOX than PS3 [Known Fact] When in game on call of duty i notice that PS3 seems to lag out a little more often and have "Connection interupted" quite a lot of the time . Enough of black ops . As many of us know PSN went down for about 5 weeks in april due to it being unstable Hackers managed to break the network and retrieve a lot of our valuable data including credit card details i lost trust in SONY at that point onwards When the network finally came back up all they gave us was a Crappy "Welcome Back Package"
That had nothing i wanted .

Well i really hated the old xbox 360 look the white one i thought it looked sort of plain and the white looked really tacky and it came with that HUGE power brick which if i wanted to take to someones house i would have to take the huge brick aswell . Then the PS3 came out with a built in power so now external power supply which i loved it was a little heavier but i wasnt too bothered i loved the black finish to it with the playstation sign going across in silver i really thought the touch sensitive buttons were cool they were always really sensitive so i never found myself repeatedly hitting them to turn the console on or to open the disk drive .
Then the PS3 bought a slim console out i hated it i thought it looked terrible the colour was just bad it had a rough finish instead of a nice shiny one i did and another thing they got rid of the touch sensitive buttons :O They halved the USB ports to 2 instead of my 60Gb Which has 4 .
Then a XBOX slim came out you could tell it was slimmer but nothing special it just didnt have that massive hard drive on top of the console it was built in this time with a rather large 250GB and a stupid 4GB i mean seriously why would you want a 4GB it would store NOTHING my XBOX took up a few GB before i had even started.
I loved the touch buttons that they bought to the xbox and i loved the fans all around so it wouldnt overheat as often and guess what no RROD as there is no way of this happening because THEY DIDNT PUT RED LEDS IN but it still came with the huge brick it was just a little smaller :mad:

There has been a lot of arguement which graphics are better PS3 or XBOX well to be honest there is no difference and if there is a different its just your TV settings they are basically the same The reason People think PS3 is better is because the games are so large when all they do with XBOX games is compress them so there really is no difference

So there we have it i have gone over the main aspects of both consoles and we have come to a tie so they are both equal to eachother in many ways there is a lot i havent covered but the thread would be way to large if i did cover them

Ok I have To say this buddy.... First you are rating online for black ops.. when it has been proven black ops was ported for ps3... meaning it would be better on xbox no matter what.. so not a valid statement for online.... and ok lets look at online
Xbox you can create a avatar for everyone to see even tho they dont look like you and are kinda weird looking you still can... but PS3 you can create one in PS Home... so in turn same damn thing... and now features if you forgot ps3 has music and facebook also... as well as its a blue ray player over the xbox... so i would say not a draw there a win for ps3.. and you say the graphics are the same yea on black ops because its a damn port.. go look at a ps3 title compared to an xbox title.. PS3 looks far better because of the blu ray laser.. another win for ps3 so with the ones you messed up on i would say its 6 to 2 and ps3 wins.... i have owned both and the ps3 is far better then the xbox

It all depends on games imo I love uncharted, hate gears of war, loved god of war, hate halo,... see where Im going... but honestly I played and beat the first too gears of war and beat every halo too date own both consoles... I just don't play my 360 much all my friends have a 360 so I keep it around but I never play anything on it unless its online... thats about it... I also prefer the ps3 controller personally... so idk pc is by far the best but im addicted to trophies... so if I have the choice any 3 ill get it on ps3 if not ill get it on whatever respected system its on pc, 360, or ps3... or wii I have that too... don't touch it too much except for brawl, Zelda twilight princess, and Mario Galaxy 1 & 2... will probably pick up skyward sword also after that I doubt ill touch a nintendo console until wii U comes out.

Draw sounds about right has both consoles have great features.
Live is better psn,join progress of not friends,cross chat etc
Ps3 has better graphics as well as watching movies (shame about Cinavia)
Both made consoles which were prone to breakdowns
Microsoft seem to a little bit more helpful than sony.
Controllers both as good as each other (Even though I prefer xbox controllers )its a personal prefence.
Looks both as ugly has each other.

You sir are a fanboy , PS3 may have music but XBOX has music in game , PS3 Does not look far better and thats a fact i have both console a PS3 Phat 3.55 a PS3 slim 3.66 and a XBOX Slim i think i would know .

You would actually recommend a high-end PC for beginner gamers. I wouldn't. A high end PC is too expensive ranging over $1000 and requires a bunch of hardware mods after a year or a few months. I recommend a moneybox 360 or a PS3.

Oh so bluray makes no difference in graphics? Bullshit the Blu Ray discs can hold many Gb more than a normal CD-ROM. Ive played xbox alot and PS3 alot Hands down PS3's graphics are better

Blu-Ray alone is enough of a reason as to why PS3 is better in my eyes.
