I'm sure they could have just bought a supercomputer... But naw they can do the really difficult thing and try to wire over a thousand ps3's together. Yeah that's much more cost and time efficient..

Don't you remember them getting mad, along with many other firms, when sony took out the "other os" feature?
The ps3's were used because it was cheaper than getting real super computers
