The game was announced at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International by Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono. The PC version was confirmed following the PC release of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.

The game will feature characters from both the Street Fighter and Tekken series. As the game is being made by Capcom, with Namco being involved more in the licensing of the Tekken cast, the gameplay will be based on the 2D mechanics of Street Fighter IV as opposed to Tekken, and will feature projectile moves such as the Hadouken. The demo shown at the Comic-Con showed characters Ryu and Kazuya Mishima fighting each other, being tagged by Street Fighter's Chun-Li and Tekken's Nina Williams. The characters were shown performing tag team super combos that combined their partner's attacks, similar to those in Street Fighter EX3 as well as Tekken Tag Tournament.[/text]

I don't really like the beginning of the music in those trailers, it's too far away from the Tekken "mind" and atmosphere!

Neither the "cinematic" (Opening?).

But the game itself should be still good

Yea, it will be epic.

i actually got to play it this weekend. it seems really solid, but to early to tell if is going to be worth playing on the competitive scene.

This is definitely going to be competitive game usually because Capcom is good at that (also milking your money). Tournament players are already liking SFxT & im already hyped for this game myself

the game is soo unfair sf got long range attacks and tekken has no long range attacks

Yeah its going to be tough for some Tekken character to go through projectiles but im liking how the game mechanics work in this game.
