I recently changed my settings to avi to record through my PC.
Besides that, no major changes,
When i take out the hdd and go back to my program to record it on with before, i see some message that it wont start without the HDD but if i put it back in, nothing will happen

Does anyone know how to fix this

do the thing with the power button where you hold it for 3 beeps

sience you changed it to avi the console is still trying to put out a hdmi stream you need to reset your video settings by holding down the power button

yeah, i tried that, but i dont get the menu thing

So all i have to do is hold it down and it will show up on HDMI or what

yeah it will reset

if this dont work hook it up on both
go to hdmi or whatever you was running
go to video settings

pick the avi and things
now switch to the channel with the avi cables it should ask to confirm
hit yes you are running avi now

remember to hook both up

I has both HDMI and AVI cables in and tried the holding down the button but i still dont get any picture or sound
