Its not that easy its really complicated and you have to know wtf you are doing. Not worth it IMO

There really needs to be a pop-up similar to the Quote Notification when posting threads in this forum.
It could say:
Are you posting a thread inquiring about a FW >3.55 Jailbreak/Hack/Downgrade?
Yes NO

If the person presses yes, it could redirect to a search of 3.66 JB or whatever.

If they press no, it should ask " Are You Sure?"

buy a modchip or buy a new ps3 from an internet as the shop might be upto above 3.55

if you know how to solder, can take apart a ps3, have ps3 phat and time get the infectus mod chip i would recommend that you get a 3.55 fw off of craigslist or something if you can't do/have whats listed above and you have the money.
