Post: PS3 keeps freezing.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, so I get on MW2, or Cod4 and I play for like 30-45 minutes, when I press the middle button on the controller and my friends list shows up, it doesn't show any icons or any of my friends list and when I back out of the screen it stays black like that and I have to turn off my ps3 to fix this. Anyone know wtf this is?

do you have a lot of movies or music? if so that may be why happened to me before. (I had a slim 120gb)

go to the recovery menu and rebuild data base if this doesnt work do a restore

when you rebuild database, do you lose all ur downloaded items, like games/dlcs, save files, etc?

no you don't, you will loose playlists you created and messages thats all

You could do a Full System Restore which might fix your problem but you would lose everything but you could redownload your games and dlc and stuff

I don't have the problem lol, i was just curious as to what will happen when you would choose to rebuild database.
