(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); For some people (including myself) I've popped in a game, to be greeted with a new patch/update. however after selecting yes to update it, the screen says "Please Wait..."
and after about 10 seconds, the system just restarts. /facepalm

I believe i have found a solution to this! now, I'm not quite sure why this "error" happens, but i have a solution that recently worked for me on Mortal Kombat.

When asked to update, don't press X. Press cancel and the game will start normally, and you will also be signed out. Let the game go to the main menu or whatever it takes you to,
and then go to the XMB and Sign in. The game will say there is an update for the game, press yes. The game will stop and it will go back to the PS3's main screen and then afterwards,
it should automatically start the update and work properly! Smile

Hope this helped! and if it doesn't, then I give full permission to flame/troll me Gaspkay: hahaha

RIP PICHU.
This is how I got onto Netflix on my PS3 during the PS3 Network outage. Netflix required PSN access so I just did this, takes a few trys but works.

Had this problem before, open the game and wait for the update screen to appear. Don't accept the update until the HDD access light completely stops blinking which should take 30 seconds max :wtf:
