i have followed the step on playstaion website every step

my JB ps3 is spoofed to 3.70
but when i click on transfer it say please wait then comes up with ethernet cable unplugged or set PS3 device before blah blah blah

any help will be very very very thankful

You need 2 PS3's to data transfer, and you need an ethernet cable connected between the two.

yes i have 2 ps3`s and the ethernet cable, the error i keep getting is

you have to start the process on both ps3's, both opposite option.

You need to start the sending one first. I had the same problem for a little bit until i deleted corrupted data.

ill try delete some stuff but i dont think it will work

this is how i do it..first sign out then go to network settings disable internet connection and media server go back to systme setting then connect the transfer cable and go to data transfer and hover over transfer data from other systme.now go to custom ps3 and set it to send data.go bck to 3.72 ps3 and click x to start transfer. and thats it do format and wait till finishd.hope this helps
