(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a US ps3 60gb fat that I bought in 2007. I bought far cry 2 off eBay and it shipped to my house form the UK. When I try to run the disc I get an error that says "this game cannot be run on this video format". I believe this is because is is a PAL formatted game and I have a NTSC ps3. I am using a flat screen that is capable of using HDMI cables. But I am just using the standard av cables from 2007 when I bought my ps3. My question is how can I get this game to work on my ps3?

use HDMI cable.

the region of the disc doesnt matter the ps3 can read ntsc and pal

with the HDMI the resolution and video output will change in automatic.
