Sony yesterday announced its new HMZ-T1 3D Visor product. It will allow anyone wearing it to watch a huge virtual 750" screen in 3D. It will also come packed with a surround sound headset, for the ultimate experience. You will be able to watch movies, play games essentially anything you watch on your TV. But this time in your own complete privacy.
But obviously this great bit of kit will come at a hefty price. It is going to cost a whopping $800. And it is set for release in Japan on the 11th of November. Would you guys want one of these? Or does the price kill it for you?
Ill pass cheers, i never did like things like this. I still wont get a nintendo 3Ds because imo they arent safe. This visor sounds as though it melts your brain, ill just stick with my good old HD TV for now. Also having my eyes that close to a screen is never going to be safe. throw 3D in with it and your asking to have eye problems.
Also whats the point? id rather go and spend more on a 3D TV and actually get the real thing ^^.

I think it will very practical, and it may only harm your eyes if you are below 5. Course I would always try something like this in a store before I bought it, maybe you should try it out when they are released

why below five? human eyes grow until you are in your late teens, and after that id still not want to f*ck my eyes up with this. It does look cool, but as usual i doubt sony have tested the long term effects of this, and i am pretty sure they wont be good. Its like me sitting like and inch from my TV to play a game. My eyes are gonna fry. Not to mention all the other stuff TV's do that isnt healthy for you.
