(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So in order to update a ps3 through recovery menu you need to have a thumbdrive....but at the moment i do not have a big enough thumbdrive...so if i format my psp to fat 32 and put the update on it and plug it in to the ps3 on the port closest to the blu ray....My question is will it work...i could test it but i would rather know before i try?

any device that can be read by the ps3 will work ive updated off of my mp3 player before
