(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Im living in Dubai which is far away and I know on games such as CoD some lobbies are hosted in Canada, America etc. so I lag. But THATS not what im worried about. I recently started to use my new wireless router, and whenever i get into a game I have a 4 bar connection. However I constantly lag all over the place. I'm running, then suddenly my screen stops and i teleport to random spots and I end up dying. Sever lag spikes. The only thing I can do is private matches... alone!

Here are my speedtest.net results...

You must login or register to view this content.

as I said, they are pretty amazing but I dont know what's wrong with the multiplayer...

Thanks guys.

Well if it was black ops, then you could easily change where your preferred servers are, but for mw2 it's a little more hard, I guess you can either play black cocks, or just wait for mw3. Other than that I'm afraid you're just going to have to wait until mw3 or another game comes out. :( Sorry

I can now confirm that it lags on Black ops even worse.

It's not because of the servers I'm on, in every single room i join I teleport around the map in random lag spikes...

could it be beacuse i have a wireless connection?

There's way Too Much..
What's your NAT type say? It should at least be moderate.

If not, look up how to dedicate a port for your gaming system...it might help you a little...

If it's a Linksys router, it should be pretty easy...it's usually 192.168.1.1

If your NAT type isn't set to open that could be the problem...just look up google for a tutorial to fix your NAT to open (if it isn't already)
