In order to find a 3.55 or lower PS3 it is likely that you will need to buy used.

Depending up on your location
try GameStop
Craigslist
Ebay.
Game
Gorilla Games
a local pawnshop ( if you have one)
or any other used electronics store

Always check the Fw on the console if bought in a pawnshop ect.

While it is possible that you mayfind a new ps3 on 3.55 or lower the chances are significantly lower.

yes and if you ask at gamestop sometimes theyl plug it in and check firmware for you but only if the store aint busy.

becareful with ebay a lot of yellow light of death console's been fixed .then they put cfw on it and sell it.... becareful

i wouldn't never buy a ps3 on ebay...

i got mine just a few days ago at k mart
look for the model number on side of box to be 2501a which is the plain ps3 slim
or the 2501b which comes with the move
its on firmware 3.41

i wonder if bestbuy would sell on lowest fw

or you can rob my house i have 2 one on 3.41 the other on 3.55

its not good to advertise, although i have a 3.70 a 3.41 and a 3.55
