My Xbox always has Open NAT, but my PS3s is now always strict. They are both the consoles are the original models, hardwired, and never on at the same time. My Router is a D-Link DIR-655. I tried Port Forwarding and it Did not work. I put my PS3 in DMZ mode, and it still, did not work.

Any suggestions? I'm gonna have my friend come over and bring his slim PS3 over, because I was going to get one (I got YLOD and fixed it, not sure how long this is going to last.)

I'd cry if I got a new PS3 and still had Strict nat, lol.

Mine is Moderate.... I had Open till i got the clear ISP provider

yes me to it happend to me i got a new router and upgraded internet idk y it says nat type 3 strict im goin to try upgrading my modem to a high speed modem mayb thats the problem.... do u have a high speed modem

I'm on my IPhone and can't look it up but there are several ruts on how to get your nat type to open.
Go to search, enter all, titles, keyword NAT and they should come up for you.
Edit: use advanced search feature

If you enter your Routers Manager You will be able to Re-Route Your PS3's Connectivity Allowing your NAT to open/Use more Ports. That Dont Work Contact Your Service Provider. No Need to Spend Money.
