(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was playing on COD 4 when i recieved a message of a freind.I went to open the message and as i clicked the PS Button my PS3 froze,so I turned it off at the back of the console. After a while I turned it back on to find that there was nothing on the screen! I googled the problem and found that its the change of TV from normal to HDMI...But I didnt change TV! I tried the '2 beep' fix and the recovery menu, but nothing cam up on the screen. I tried today now and the recovery menu came up, I connected the controller with the USB cable but nothing happened so I pressed the PS button and lots of tiny coloured dots came up on the screen scattered about! Any Ideas?? Please Help Me. :[

hmmm r u using composite , Component, or HDMI cables?

oh well, is ur screen just plain black?

have your ps3 OFF- then HOLD the power button down until it beeps and it will restore it to the default TV setting.. if this does not work then your screwed , i FKED my ps3 before the same way..

word of advice , if your ps3 freezes DONT turn it off from the back!! ESPECIALLY if the HDD light is flashing.. i did this before and it killed my ps3, cost me 150$ and two weeks of no ps3.. better call sony and get that service box sent to you, takes 3-4 days just to get it..

OH...I DID TURN IT OFF AT THE BACK!!! THE HDD light wasnt flashing though.rx ray yes the screen is plain black

it happened to my friend ur beat send it back to sony call and get your box shipped out and hopefully its under warrenty or its 150 for them to service it

I might do It myself because I think its the hardrive and all you gotta do it undo a screw and slide a new one in. Simples lol
