(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, Recently a friend of mines Slim ps3 hdd is having corruption problems so he will be buying a new one, What i was thinking is that would it be possible to swap out a slims 250gb hdd with a fat 60gb hdd?

His 60gb got YLOD so I thought it would be an easy swap, unless the hdd sizes are larger or smaller.

all ps3 systems use a standard 2.5" sata drive so you should have no problem upgrading :y:

firmware has nothing to do with the hdd /facepalm its on the consoles nand No if you have a 3.70 and get a brand new hdd it will still be on 3.70 thats why people dont just buy new drives to downgrade
