The online website replied by stating that they will be unable to provide a code that is required for “regular gameplay.”
This led some to speculate that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will require an online pass.
Capcom’s Corporate Officer/Senior Vice-President, Christian Svensson, was quick to deny those claims, however.
Mr Svensson said “While online passes are increasingly common in our business, to clarify, there is no online pass for UMvC3. Not sure where anyone would have gotten that idea as we've communicated as much to our retail partners.
I've asked our VP of Sales to set Gamefly straight.”
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is the expansion to Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.
It adds new characters, modes, rebalanced gameplay and more. The fighting game will be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on November 15th.
I seriously choose this game over bf3 & mw3 because this game was fun & still is. 12 new characters x $5 for each character = $60 but it will cost $40 which is worth it. Idk why this guy thought that Capcom would use an online pass, seriously they wouldn't do it.
