Installed everything, downloaded dlc, updated. the sound will play through my tv, but not through my turtle beach headset (dpx-21). Tried other games and the headset still works flawlessly as it should. Tried deleting and reinstalling the game, etc. Any suggestions or thoughts? Maybe I'm having having a derp moment, but I just can't figure it out. Thanks in advance for any help.

My Dragon Age 2 did that a lot. Its some weird audio problem. It'll resolve itself eventually. I never had that happen to me while playing Rage though.

turn on multi output, and it should work fine, also check the audio settings you could change to headphones

Yea check the audio settings in the game itsself Uncharted 3 had this

The audio is on multi- hdmi to tv, and optical to the amplifier that runs with the headset.

The in-game audio settings are only volume adjustments (volume up and down for sfx, music, etc) no output settings tho.
