Let me guess, You tried different CFW and it bricked it and everyone thinks it is a overheating problem?

On topic if Sony determines it was running CFW your warranty is gone, and most likely you will get it back on 3.56 or later.

Not sure if they'll fix it for you but if they do it's likely that it will come back with a later version than 3.55 - most probably the latest version.

Ring them and ask if they will fix it for you... it's better asking them than us.
