By going to the System Update menu on the PlayStation 3, you can download the 3.73 firmware update.

As of right now, there aren’t any specifics on what the update changes, but Sony did send out a vague tweet regarding the firmware update.

“A new, non-mandatory PS3 firmware update, v3.73, is now available. Stability during use of certain PS3 format software has been improved.”

Microsoft is in the process of buying skype, it will most likely never be on the ps3. And may have to be removed from the psp.

i hope so.... when i updated to 3.72 i was having a hard time getting it to read my games lol... maybe this one fixes that for the older ps3s
