in my opinion these are better then turtle beaches and trittons.

I've had TB PX3's before they lasted me roughly 2 months before the wires had worn and i lost hearing partically but they still work fine, PX3's are cool because there rechargable and what not but when the battery starts to ware its annoying having to charge them constantly BUT they were awsome and well worth the money, sony's sound good in this review i mean common now 7.1 surround sound it has to be atleast decent for the price. Hope it helps

Which ones are better for hearing footsteps, or "sound-Whoring"?

PX3's are better for sound whoring, you can hear people on the opposing team easyly but bad part is it comes with a price. The footsteps of your enemy are clear but making out if its your team mates, your own, or your enemies is the tricky part but yeah i read the review on the sony's in my gameinformer and it says that sony's are great but has dull sounding momments.
