Post: Which headset should I get?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've searched a few other topics and they haven't really helped me much. I want to know which headset to get, currently I'm trying to decide on either the official SONY one or the Turtle Beach PX3.

Please post on which you have and what you think is the best. Astro A40's were what I was gonna get, but they're too expensive at £240... I mainly play CoD too BTW.

with any headset you will hear peopel across the map people just gass exspencive headpohnes up LOL

if a headset is cheap and matches the sound of a exspencive one go for the cheaper one, remember your paying for a brand name with the exspencive ones some younge people fail to understand that.

the sony ones kill px21's anda pair or atsros i dunno what ones they are but thats coming from about 30 people who did a comparasome. ive already sold my px21's for the sony ones as all the very good reviews and wireless its 2011 almost 2012 why the **** do we still have cables everywhere lol

I had a set of turtle beach px21's and they had numerous problems in fact I had three sets develop problems over a 5 month period with the final set parting at the ear cup, I complained and got a film refund paid that little bit more and got myself a set of trotting axpro's full surround sound headset

Yes they are wired but they are compatible with both my xbox and ps3 so fitted the bill ad although a big step up from the turtles they were very much worth it

There's loads of sound options on them and with the multiple speaker ear cup it allows you to pin point footsteps precisely. The microphone and ear cup covers and cables are all replaceable should one get broken or mistreated and spares are pretty cheap, you get two sets of ear cups as standard a foam variant and a leather esk version, the headset has a clever 7 pin system that enable you to detach it from the rest of the system to store and the microphone is both flexible adjustable and detachable.

IMO it's a excellent surround sound headset and one of the better ones on the Market but there pretty pricey it's really a personal thing if your going to be wearing them for long periods then I'd get something that feels comfortable to use.

I've got a full review and unboxing review of the tritons posted on a different site but id be happy to upload it on here should you require
