300 and the 60gb ps3 will never be rare. Anyone can take a 60gb hard drive and throw it in a 80gb. The only ps3 that is close to rare is the 20 gb but that certainly won't make the price go up. Not until there considered antiques.

60 gigs are BC and are the only model with card readers built in. HDD size isn't the only difference.
Well they are the only PS3's that can play PS2 games without download the emulation software from the Playstation Store.
There is no emulation software on the PS Store. I think you're confusing it with PS2 System Data on the store, which allows PS2 games with an HDD required to be emulated on 60, 20, and 80 gig models. PS3s still need to have an Emotion Engine chip for PS2 emulation, as there is no software emulation yet.
