You must login or register to view this content. heres the pic of it. Is it YLOD? If it is i can repair it.. but the thing is, it still turns on for 30 seconds and then makes them crazy lines. If I turn it off at the back the YLOD comes on at for a few seconds.

I don't want to risk the warranty, if i start to fix it then it turns out not to be YLOD then its just a wasted PS3.. can anyone help? Waited for skyrim for years then my PS does this :wtf: :FU: :FU: :FU: :FU:

i haven't seen this before :confused: if i understand when you shut down your ps3 off by blocking power suply and turn it back on you get a yellow light on your ps3? i guess it is something with your motherboard, because with the YLOD you can't turn on your PS3 :confused:

yeah that is the best you can do. i would do the same in your position

ok this is from your video chip its like over heating with ylod ur video chip went have to send to sony for this 1 or find a replacement but if you got warnty send it to sony
