Each time, I've had a brand new game in it, started with one of the Fifa's, then WAW, Battlefield and Now MW3. I emailed Sony's chief executive after the second YLOD, and he said " The problem is currently being resolved, as it is an ongoing problem worldwide" Which is bullshit. Secondly, he said he would be sending me a PS3 with in the next 24 hours. He did, In fairness send me a new PS3.

However, the PS3 He sent me was from BULGARIA, the language was Bulgarian and the PS3 was second hand. I don't know If I can be bothered to go through with emailing that piece of shit again. I have an Xbox, and am more than likely just going to convert to Xbox from now on, although ALL my friends are on PS3.

What do you think I should do?

I'm on my 3rd PS3, First one was YLOD, 2nd was BluRay Drive failed..and i just bought my 3rd one last week, Hoping nothing will happen to it

should of just got a complete new 1 when ylod. console repair shit isnt ever that good unless its the blu ray, plus 360 will screw u n money for online n rrod

Sony just sends back shit PS3's when you get them refurbed. I'm on my 3rd, first died of blue ray failure, 2nd of YLOD within first 6 months, and I have my slim for a over a year and a half and hasn't died yet. (Might be 2 years, can't remember now..)

I'd like to thank everyone here who gave me advice, If I could be bothered to thank everybody here, I would but the fact of the matter is, Sony actually sent me out a PS3 slim, With a controller and a $50 PSN code (Although I live in the UK) so I don't have time to thank any of ya'll.

when you get a new ps3.. its worth getting some thermal compound squirt it on spu's and processors to stop ylod, even though it voids warrenty and leave it stood up and give it room to breath...

LOL I know they have terrible service this is why people love jailbreaking PS3, I hope sony watches this thread and realises how Bad thier customer support is

IT happened the saturday before MW3 came out. I wanted to play MW3 so bad and didnt wanna wait for it to be fixed so I bought a new one.

Your just one unlucky nigga. I don't know what i can tell you...maybe you should just get the xbox and stay with that system until you decide you wish to play on a ps3 again. Nigga please buy some luck :p
