Its never the ps3, its just your router being very picky, Just like norton internet security.. that sh*t checks every little thing entering and exiting your computer thus it is *strict*.

You need to open up ports on your router, or disable any router security (not the wep or wpa!).

thats pretty much it or its ur internet provider aswell probably router though

Make a DMZ for your ps3s ip address. usually on router setting you just type your ps3s ip.
