I have a PHAT PS3, but i dont know how to play ps2 games on it, please help, My ps3 is 40GB.

Not all fat ps3's can, only the ones close to the launch date of PS3, if you do have on thats backwards compatible, just put the ps2 disc in and there you go.

the 20 is no longer in production and neither is the 60gb but both were backwards compatible the 60 was the best for this... so those two are out! the motorstorm 80gb PS3 is backwards compatible however it is limited because it uses software emulation to be backwards compatible.... the 40gb is not backwards compatible with any ps2 games AT ALL... just some ps1 games.

you need the ps2 disc that the ps2 brings in the box. then go on psn store and download some called ps2 format i think. other than that you cant unless you have the first ps3s that came out
