I think yoiu need to reset your playstation settings because the output of either HDMI 1080 720p etc might not be compatible with your tv just youtube it and it should give you a tutorial on how to reset your settings x If not that then your ps3 HDMI/AV cables are ****ed.

once you turn the switch on, keep the power button pressed til it makes a sound. then press the button again and hold it til you hear the sound then just turn on the game and it will ask you if you have HD on.

Just unplug everything blow in the sockets or put a hover there (works best ) and it will suck the dust out and you wont have any black screen problems. unless you put the sockets in the wrong way or are on a different out put.
