Post: 2 PSN on the same house - problem trying to play MW3 in a party

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); a friend of mine called me yesterday with this issue:

- he has 2 PS3 on his house
- he is trying to play MW3 in a party with the 2 consoles.
- everytime he invite the other player, he is not able to enjoy the game.
- I created a game from my house and invited both. As the first player was in the party and the second one enjoyed, the first was instantly kicked out.
- one of the players has NAT-Typ Open the oder strikt.
- i saw his router config on a teamviewer session and it looked OK. Both consoles had diferent IPs, diferent MAC-Adresses. So there wasn't an IP-Conflict.

After reading many stuff on google i decided to change some settings on his rooter:

- i modified the config so IP x.x.x.x would act as a DMZ. This IP i allocated manually on the PS3 from Player 1 (NAT open), then we tried again. It is working now...

well, i still not knowing what exactly is going on there, but i got it working making this DMZ change on his router. Im affraid, that if i put one more PS3 on his networking, this PS3 will have the same problem.

Can someone help me out here?

Thx!

me and my neighbour are able to play mw3 in the same party (he uses my internet)

im using virgin media superhub

so it may be a few settings on your router need ajusting

but u can still have 2 ps3's in the same house playing mw3 at the same time

try reseting your router or put 1 ps3 wired and the other wireless
