Post: Red/Yellow Light Of Death...

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My old ps3 has experienced this, I have a Game still in there, I tried the "hold down the eject button to start fan cycle" trick...but, It doesn't start the fan cycle, flashes twice and returns to red (sometimes stays flashing). Im wondering is there another method to removing the disk without sending it off to sony or opening it up. Any help is appreciated. :bro:

not without disassembling it, if you chose this you will need to take out the bluray drive a remove some screws, its not to hard me and my friends did it, theres videos on youtube on how to, or you could send it to a professional non sony repair business

ya i never bash people, and yes im sorry but theres really not a way, i mean you can stick like a knife in there and try to pry it open but i dont think its smart, if you had the slim console it would be a different story

Haha yeah, I think i'll avoid sticking a knife in it lol. Only reason i wanted the game was coz im borrowing my nephews game when'ever he's not playing it. Gets annoying when im murdering peeps and he wants to play it lol. It'll cost around €80 to get it repaired, i might just do that, get the game and have a back up ps3. I bought the slimline this time around so its all good Cool Man (aka Tustin)

Hold both the eject and power button, it should kick the fan cycle on and push out the disc.
