Everything was good for 3 months (the fans were very loud but no problem:dumb but now, about 1 week it started to overheat very fast. Sometimes it overheats in 20 minutos other times in 10 but now, if I start a game it overheats in like 2-3 minutes and a message saying "your system become hot, shut it down blablabla:FU:" comes up on the screen after this time.. :/ Can anybody help me? Why not send it in to Sony? Maybe its time to put it down..

I live in Brazil, I can't send it to Sony. I am thinking about buying a new one. Today I played and the message didn't show up because the weather is not as hot as other days but the fan is a little bit loud and annoying :/

Then perhaps your best bet will be to get a new one.

Did you put new thermal paste on

whats the avg temperature and does your ps3 have enough space?

Man here in Rio the last days were like 35-40 degrees but now it is raining and how I said it is not giving the message anymore but the fan is a bit loud :/ and yes, it does have enough space

Ya buy some artic silver;, replace it on both cpu and gpu and it will probly fix the problem

Ok thermal paste is very important in keeping your CPU and gpu stay at a good temp

If the fan is loud try clearing out any dust. My fan sounded light jet engines before I took off any visible dust.
