(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, after updating 4.0 recently I found that my ps3 suddenly is acting up. Like, a lot. It now freezes, and lags, and sometimes won't even turn onto the xmb now. Also it will say "cannot start, failed to read hard drive." I have reformatted file system, and reinstalled the 4.0 update from a USB...But it still does not work. Sony said an option is to reformat my hard drive but that is my last resort. Anyone have any help to possibly fix it before I am forced to reformat?

Update- Now I can't even seem to reach my xmb to back up my HDD without it freezing.

have you put it in recoverymode?

Try recovery it may help

restart ur system then wait 10 minutes

my slim ps3 wont even turn on now so dont feel bad it happens at random , saying that doesnt even help :fa:
