(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Up until recently many folks in the United Kingdom weren’t particularly aware of Netflix; however that is soon about to change...The Netflix app has started appearing on various PlayStations all over the UK as a result of the early 2012 announcement of the app.

For those of you that don’t know, Netflix is a streaming service similar to every other streaming application you have on your PlayStation 3 system, however this is slightly different. To begin with it is considered to be somewhat better than its competitors, for a small monthly fee you will be able to stream 1000’s of TV shows and movies rather than just one or the other. The app is simple to use and set up , as well as this it only requires a small 13MB download so even those with poor internet connection and can download Netflix within an acceptable time.

The app has been slightly adjusted for UK users, this is because it needs to show more British shows and movies, as a result of this Netflix has struck deals with major companies such as BBC Worldwide and Lionsgate UK

You were in a hurry.. Ok but usually when you say someone is "ignorant" you try spell correctly or you are a hypocrite. How childish I am lol. I am probably older than you.

I'm currently doing a free trial with NetFlix, at the moment I am pretty impressed with it. Some pretty awesome titles I've watched and got few more planned for the next up coming nights. I think I will also test out LoveFilm to see what i prefer or think is more benefical for myself.

Trust me, whatever lovefilm is. Netflix is way better. Its sleeker, faster, and more than likely has thousands of more shows, movies, etc. for only $9 a month.

From what I seen of NetFlix & Lovefilm they are pretty similar. I took up a LoveFilm trial way back, doing a new one after my Netflix has run out.

Netflix:

  • Films
  • Shows

*For a monthly subscription for a price a month for streams

Lovefilm:

  • Films
  • shows
  • Games

*For a monthly subscription for a price a month for streams & rentals. Plus the rentals you can keep as long as your subscription go on for. When you return a rental you get whats next on your list to send out. You get like different subscriptions say like 2 or 3 rentals a month.

I dont know if NetFlix offers rentals in US, but for UK it probably more benefical to use lovefilm. As you get the streams but also rentals. So you can rent what you wanna rent & stream what you wanna stream. Both seem pretty similar to me personally. At the moment yes I am enjoying Netflix but i'll have to wait and see what to get after both trials.
