im think im going for the Sony Wireless headset

is it a good one or does this headset fail alot ?

Have a pair of sony wireless work great like that you can get virtual 7.1 surround sound. I use them every day no issues

I use Turtle Beaches and it's pretty decent

Go with the Astro A40's man, its like wearing God's ears.

Personally I use the Tritton Pro + headset.
It has true surround sound w/ Dolby 5.1 and an amazing mic. It is a bit pricey but I don't know your price range. Most Tritton-Astro-Turtle Beach headsets work perfectly! May I ask what you intend using the headset for? What games etc.. ??

Astros or the trittons are good, if you dont have the money just stick with the trittons

i would suggest the px3 turtle beaches or the sony pulse headset.

I have a sony headset and this headset is great, however if you are a serious gamer and want to be able to hear absolutely everything and have enough money I highly advise you to save $100 or $150 more for Astro A40s, $250 sounds like a lot of money but you won't regret, the sony headsets are good for the price but there are other headsets out there that provide better sound quality (true 7.1 surround sound) and are also better for everything, if you don't like wired headsets then go for the Astro A50s. You will find Sony headset extremely useful when you first get them but after awhile you'll see yourself saving up for better headset like me, and if you wanna know if sony headsets allow you to sound whore yes it does, way better than the PX21, only downside is that when there's a lot of noise going on you might find it hard to hear footsteps, also if you play cod the distance you hear people planting or defusing bombs is very poor regardless of how much noise is going on, but everything else like reloads etc sound fine from a short distance. Also stay away from turtle beaches, specially the PX21, everyone I've known of has broken it even if they take care of it including me.

I would say Turtle Beach Earforce P11, I really like it, only 5 bucks too!

Had turtle it broke in a week stay away lol
