Here is what has been said that that will be included into the game...

Accordingly to this rumors, Final Fantasy X HD remake will be created using Final Fantasy XIII game engine, which also will be adapted to PS Vita. Another unconfirmed details regarding FFX remake development includes following items:

Re-created for new engine characters, aeons and some stage elements.
Cut scenes and FMV will be enhanced with some "filter" of FFXIII engine — probably, it's some kind of AA-filtering and smoothing.
Magic, special effects and lightning will be re-created using new engine called "Luminous".
Blitzball game will take little changes.

FFX HD may have additional network features ( in the light of previous item — I can predict that game will receive multiplayer for Blitzball game in some form, and maybe something else ).

Release Date — in 2012 fiscal year ( i.e. before 31 March, 2013 ). At the moment it's impossible to concretize release date, but I personally can expect FFX HD to be released in Japan somewhere in Summer / Autumn of 2012. Actual release date highly depends on scale of planned new features ( how many resources required to implement all of them ) and how long FFX HD is in development stage for now. But, if take into account that there is no any pictures of game or official details — highly possible that FFX HD development started not very long ago.

I don't know if any of that is true, maybe somebody can clear it up for me

Opinion's guys

I know it's taking a long time but considering how all the reviews are for FF13& FF13-2, I don't mind them taking there time it's just I hope they don't cancel because man from all the videos I've seen and how cool Noctis and Stella are, it would be a shame. I'm very story driven especially when supposedly they maybe have to fight each other. I know this thread is about FFX but I just had to throw this in there lol.

multiplayer blitzball would be fantastic.

FFX is one of my favorite games, I cant wait for this release.

Haha! I don't mind them taking their time either but when you have been waiting atleast 6 years for this it's just starting drag and I know a few people that have started to lose interest in it. I hope it sweeps every FF fan off their feet but we will have to see, hopefully it will be released this year and not next. The same with FFX Hopefully it can be released just after summer, when it gets a bit colder.



Yup buddy, it would be an awesome edition to the game, It's also one of my favourites and I hope they tell us a release date sometime soon

I hope the games (FFX and FF versus XIII) come out one after another, that would be $100 well spent LOL.

If I could get that and FFX-2 on PS3 I'd be set for life..

You never know with Enix they could throw anything out the bag

for all we know they might do a collection thing, like FFX, FFX-2, and FFXII on a disc, like the other collections out there

I think they would of announced something if it was like that but they could throw in FFX-2, FFXII and Crisis Core on the same disc then that would be pretty awesome.

well, they could make a new announcement during TGS lol.
