(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); just my luck i swap a 160gb slim for a 3.55 60gb fat and what do u no within 2 weeks it ylod'd on me


i was trying to load a ps1 game multiman and the disk ejected

then it took it back in made 1 hell of a revving noise and then boom

And by "swapped" you mean traded at a reputable business?

Kinda sounds like someone could have fixed a ylod and hurried to trade it. Is the seal still 100% perfectly intact? Has to be 100% because I can take a seal off and put it back on it with only a little bit corner nicks.

u will have to open it and clean the cpu and gpu on the mother board with some alcohol and the grab a heat gun and warm up the cpu and gpu for about 15 mins, do not move it while u do this lay it on a flat surface and then after heating it then let it cool for 15 mins then put it back together and see if it works

No not 15 min to heat. Cool don each side yeah. There are 4 areas on each side of the motherboard that you have to heat up at 662 degrees F for 15-20 seconds a each. Here This is part 1 of 6. Do this it works.

no it had a new bluray put in it b4 i got it

well there are plenty iof ways to fix it but its which 1 will work and make ur ps3 last the longest so you look at all these vids on utube but a simple cost of £30 to a local game shop is by far ur best idea they are by far because if it doers it again with in a month u shud get it free Smile

i fixed 2 ps3 with ylod. with the heat gun.
both ps3 work for 14 days. now there back death.

get it repaired professionally by an independent fixing company, they are cheap and very reliable!
