Hi, i'm looking for an HDPVR. I'm somewhat new to recording and editing but i will get used to it eventually. I'm planning on buying an HDPVR though. You guys are most likely the experts and know much more than me. Im looking for an HDPVR that can record with at least 720p/1080i. Im looking for one that is around $200-$400. I mostly play Call of Duty games, and i use my Playstation 3 Slim System. Can anybody recommend anything?? I got a Good Tv and a Computer By The Way.... Remember to quote please.

the blue one is hauppauge 1212 is the best (and i think the only one) that records in HD, i have one, if you buy it remember to buy a ps3 component cable !

From personal exprecience and out of all honesty the gaming edition PVR does have the cool green light and does work more stable than the normal version after research I found this out... but the component cables you get with it are extremely poof they give ghosting and cut out issues. So my recommendation would be gaming PVR and official sony cables.
