JTAG
A JTAG is a hardware hack that is used to flash a device with different firmware. You can jtag cable modems so you can clone your mac address and steal the internet (it's illegal so don't ask). You can also jtag an xbox 360 and use an exploit found in the older xbox dashboard to rewrite the nand chip. The nand is kind of like a bios chip on a computer, when you flash the bios on a computer you're changing the way the computer interprets the information.
Anyway a jtag for an xbox allows the xbox to be flashed so it can do things microsoft designed against. You can run homebrew or run any unsigned code so almost everything is accessible. You can hook up large external hard drives and format them to be used with the xbox. There aren't many limits. You can copy a game directly to the hard drive and play the game without the disc.

Honestly, it depends upon what you are using it for. Honestly, I find that the jailbreak for the PS3 made it nice to be able to save my information and modify what I have as well as load in custom patches to make my gaming experience enjoyable, it was like having a gameshark all over again.

So there Shi* and lame because they cost money? yes if you buy a jtag they are high, however you can do it yourself there are many step by step tutorials,
For Ps3 you can't afford a usb stick? And don't start me on the my ps3 is over 3.55 because myself and others said not to update till the new firmware is assessed and people jumped the gun. If you never had a ps3 below 3.55 you can buy a used one for about 125 usd at game stop.

you guys pay that for a lame console that cant run any game at maximum even COD. and you can buy a good PC for 1500$ and play games on Maximum at now and high on the nextgeneration for free on resolutions higher than 1080p

you just made your sell sound dumb jtags/ jailbreaks are expensive, but spend 1500 on a pc and fyi my pc can handle anything I put at it it costed at lot more than 1500 :lol:

i myself have a next gen PC for above 4000$
but i know a pc at 1500$ can handle games on maximum with some over clocking.
JBs and Jtags are stupid you just copy n paste things to get free games on PC
